Google is always giving a new concept of web and changing individual’s perception. It has recently announced its plans to release OS in the second half of 2010. With this step, it is on the way to slowly transform the world into an online platform.

The root of the idea is reinventing OS after web came into existence. All the current operating systems are successors of initial operating systems, which were designed when web was not there. Google’s new OS will rely completely on web, for running any application. Just Google OS is required on the machine, rest you can write a document online, store data online, play games online, everything online.

Google focuses on speed, security and simplicity to design this new OS, which are simply all the features for online access. It will initially target on netbooks and Google is looking for different vendors. But main challenge is that will it be really effective with limited internet speed??

Our computer will, however, still remain a big empty machine, contrary to what so many software make me think that this big machine contains many useful applications.
