Tata Docomo – Plan a SMS with Timed SMS

Tata Decomo Docomo, I should say these people are rocking!. Earlier with the launch of Tata Docomo they came up with revolutionary Pay Per Second concept. The timed sms service or I can say now you can plan your sms in advance.

Timed SMS is a new next generation value added SMS service with Tata Docomo. It can be seen as a reminder or scheduler service but with more sophisticated technology. By this service you can schedule your SMS in advance, like birthday/anniversary  wishes and the same will be sent at specified Date and Time.

If you are a Tata Docomo subscriber then to use this service you have to follow some simple step :

Type TSMS  <Recipient Mobile Number> <Time in HHMM> <Date in DDMM> <Message> and send it to short-code 53030

For example : Type TSMS 9xxxxxxxxx 0001  1210 Happy Birthday and send it as an sms to 53030.

Then your SMS will be sent to Recipient’s Mobile Number at exactly 12:01 AM on 12th October. But the cons is that you are not allowed to plan it in a year advance as the Year is missing in Date.

There is a applicable charge of  Rs. 3 / SMS
