Tata Tele Pay per call – talk unlimited

After the successful launch of Tata Decomo Docomo ‘ Pay Per Second’ concept, Tata Tele services launched a new ‘Pay Per Call’  tariff for it’s CDMA mobile service ‘ Tata Indicom ‘. Under this new plan the Tata Indicom prepaid subscribers just need to pay a fixed charge of Rs. 1 ( one)  for local calls and Rs. 3 ( three ) for long distance STD and you can talk unlimited to any network.  The new tariff also have reduced SMS charges to  only 50 paisa for both national and local sms to any network.

The new & existing  subscribers can activate this plan by paying a one time fee of Rs. 96 – 99 to activate this service and there is  also a  fixed monthly charge of Rs. 30 to avail this service.

The service is currently available only to prepaid Tata Indicom subscriber the post paid customers have to wait for this.

Let’s take a example to simplify this thing by answering Who , What and How.

Who can avail this offer?

Right now the pay per call plan is available to All new & existing Tata Indicom prepaid subscribers, Post paid subscriber have to wait for it

What is Pay per call plan, can i use it as hotline?

For example if you call a BSNL/Reliance/Airtel/Vodafone/Any Network  STD number with your Tata Indicom prepaid you just need to pay Rs. 3 for that call and you can talk unlimited ( means now talk with you parents and girlfriend for just Rs. 3 per call unlimited). For local calls the charges are Rs. 1 for a call.

But it doesn’t mean that you will never drop a call to talk unlimited like a hotline, as per managing director Anil Sardana of Tata tele ” Usually a caller talks for 405 minutes on a local call and three minutes on STD , in case someone keeps the number on for an unduly long time, they may ask such customers to return to the traditional billing. According to their internal assessment, continuous usage beyond 10 minutes could be a trigger to check whether the subscriber was using it like a hotline”
