How to use WordPress Front Page Banner Plugin – [ Part 1 - Installation]

WordPress Front Page Banner plugin is very powerful plugin which can be used to display ads (adsense, referral/affiliate marketing or ads from buysellads.com), Announcements,Video’s or any custom HTML/JavaScript code on WordPress blog’s front page, just before the first post. This is a very lightweight plugin and It don’t use any specific database queries, so it should not affect your blog’s performance.

Use this plugin to increase your blog’s advertisement scope and make more money with your Wordpress blog or let your visitors know about any latest happening by announcements or video’s.

So here I am writing tutorial series on how to use WordPress FrontPageBanner plugin.

In this part I am discussing, How to install this plugin on your self hosted Wordpress blog.

1. Download the plugin from here and upload the directory ‘wp-frontpagebanner’ to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory or install the plugin directly with the ‘Install’ function in the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
3. Here the Installation of the plugin completed, now you need to configure the plugin to work for you.

Now you will see a newly added menu ‘FPB Settings’ in your WordPress admin panel [below Screen-shot], this is the configuration menu for this plugin,where you can insert your custom code.
